Affirmative Action Resources

In a debate as ideologically polarized as the one over affirmative action, it can be hard for
scholars, public officials, university administrators or interested citizens to find comprehensive
information, presented with balance and dispassion. This website aims to do this. Scholars on all sides
of the debate help to edit the website, identifying useful resource materials and providing introductions
and short essays that link the material together and help readers to place the material in context. We
aim to assemble at this site all types of material relevant to the affirmative action debate, including:

–Scholarly articles
–Court opinions
–Databases
–Media coverage

Our primary focus is on affirmative action/admissions preferences in higher education, its most
visible and perhaps the most controversial form in recent years.
